Airbus H145

FSTD for professionals FTD Level 3 or higher

The H145 FSTD represents the four-tons-class twin-engine H145 helicopter.

This versatile helicopter is used for law enforcement, emergency medical services (EMS), onshore and offshore oil & gas missions, and private and business aviation.

The simulator is built in close cooperation with Airbus Helicopters, which improves affordability and ensures realistic flight behavior in an immersive VR environment.

State-of-the-art technology

The H145 VR simulator allows pilots to:

  • Perform proficiency checks (LPC and OPC)
  • Receive training credits
  • Perform type ratings, including for normal flight and emergency situations
  • Execute instrument ratings

Full-scale replica cockpit

A full-scale replica cockpit with a 360-degree panoramic view, providing precise visual cues both inside and outside the aircraft.

Full-motion platform

Real-world flight dynamics with a six-degrees-of-freedom full-motion platform that replicates all haptic sensations—such as sling loads, runway texture, and force feedback from flight controls.

HESLO / sling load trainer

Loft Dynamics provides the world’s first realistic professional helicopter external sling load operations (HESLO) training solution. This solution allows pilots to learn the basics of sling load operations with mirror and vertical reference techniques. Different rope lengths and loads are available.

FSTD trailer

The Loft Dynamics simulator fits into a trailer, which allows pilots to train wherever they want.

Pilot training has significantly evolved over the past 30 years, from training solely in an aircraft to using full-flight simulators. With the potential of Loft’s hyper-realistic VR simulator, we could be transforming commercial pilot training as we know it today.
